Hero Event

Tonight I attended the Hero Project Event hosted in Waukegan, IL. The event was focused on raising money for programs created to help find jobs, execute wellness, and grow stronger as a community! It was so exciting getting to listen to the Lloyd Stephens Band, and speak with Mayor Cunningham. This organization was founded with nothing, and had since, blessed so many wonderful people. The heroes of this organization teach woodworking, jewelry making, and much much more! It was an honor to get to see the advancement they have made in the past three years with this fundraiser. For the first time ever, the event was held in their own space, attached to where people could look through the items for sale, and enjoy great homemade food!
