GiGi's Playhouse Gala

On Saturday I had the privilege to attend the GiGi's Playhouse gala in Rosemont, Illinois. I went that evening as Miss Teen Illinois International 2018, and performed later in the evening with my Shining Stars dance group. We sold raffle tickets to attendees, and raised money to support the programs GiGi's playhouse offers internationally. After the selling of raffle tickets, we changed and performed our dance "Good To Be Alive." I danced with my partner Faith, and it was an amazing opportunity to perform in front of 1,000 people! The night was filled with many people wanting to make a difference for those with Down Syndrome, and pushing for inclusivity.
