Week One of Senior Year

Monday was my first day of senior year! It was super crazy knowing that this was my last school day in Barrington. The week was a little emotional, especially at dance class. Realizing where we will all be next year- was overwhelming, and just didn't seem like it would ever happen.

The week went pretty well, I found out my co- pe leaders, and started my job as a freshman english class teacher's assistant. This year I am taking mostly classes of personal interest- which makes the day more fun. We also continued our choreography for competition season, which is fun but also sad knowing that this is my last Bataille dancing year.

Over the weekend, we went on a retreat with our PACT group leaders. PACT is a club at the high school, where senior leaders are chosen through application, and interview. We went to Williams Bay, Wisonsin for an overnight. While there we were able to do team building activities, make meals, have a bonfire, and enjoy the lake activities. It was a blast hanging out with everyone, and stopping for ice cream on the way back!

And of course, late thursday we had to do a quick ER visit, because I sprained my finger. Never a dull moment!

Until the next adventure,
